Danone finds in Odoo a solution to SAP's limitations
Danone is a user of multiple SAP solutions, but some years ago decided to start using Odoo as a solution for its small operating units.
Why Odoo and not SAP?
SAP is an ERP that is not well suited for small solutions, and any minimal configuration that needs to be done can be extremely complicated in time and form. This is why Danone valued the possibility of Odoo being the complement to SAP. The fact that Odoo is an open source tool was an advantage for Danone, as it is accompanied by a real community; moreover, the fact that the software package editor was solid, was undoubtedly an added advantage.
A progressive and successful implementation
Colombia was chosen to carry out the first case of Danone's implantation with Odoo. The implementation was carried out in an agile way, and without following the traditional parameters that a conventional ERP usually requires as analysis, development and implementation. The success of the process certified that a rapid deployment is possible, even for an ERP.
The process was completed in just one month, of course offering the option of immediate rectification and correction.
Colombia was followed by Danone's subsidiaries in Argentina and Australia, confirming the success of Odoo's implementation.
VEOLIA Transport uses Odoo to manage its operations
Veolia Transport is Veolia's subsidiary for ecomobility and proximity solutions. Integrated with the needs generated by the new times, Veolia Transport markets vehicles to be shared in different European locations under different names. In addition to responding to economic and ecological issues, this initiative enables a reduction in the number of cars on the road to the benefit of new "shared" vehicles; and above all, it uses Odoo to manage this entire activity.
Odoo: an open and scalable management system
As one of Veolia's ERP consultants states, they chose Odoo because it "allows the rapid development of new functionalities", as well as being "a multilingual and multi-currency solution".
Odoo has finally convinced Veolia's managers thanks to the features of its extranet interface, with the possibility of online booking and invoice consultation.
Amnesty International backs Odoo against Microsoft Dynamics
Amnesty International decided to make a clear commitment to Odoo as opposed to the conventional ERP Microsoft Dynamics, in order to guarantee its independence and freedom.
Odoo, the solution to a complex Amnesty International problem
Amnesty International has started with the implementation of the human resources modules available to Odoo, to solve a complex problem of the organization.
With 80 employees in 9 locations throughout Spain, and organized in two legal entities, Amnesty International makes a clear commitment to Odoo for this management.
In order to solve its particular problems, the organisation chooses the project management and HR facility offered by Odoo.
